Our Story
Cost Plus TRT was born out of frustration. Our founder, Sean Roche, had been on testosterone replacement therapy for years — and like many men, he was shocked by the pricing games most clinics play. Monthly fees that quietly inflate. Lab "packages" bundled with tests you don't need. Contracts that lock you in for six months before you see real results. The whole model felt designed to extract revenue, not deliver care.
Sean believed there was a better way. He teamed up with Dr. Jon Snipes, a board-certified internist with deep experience in endocrinology-adjacent care, and together they created a model borrowed from Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs: charge the real cost of medication plus a small, transparent markup — and nothing else.

Sean founded Cost Plus TRT after years on TRT himself and seeing firsthand how opaque and overpriced the industry had become. He brings clinical expertise in endocrinology-adjacent care with a focus on individualized, evidence-based hormone protocols. Sean oversees day-to-day patient care, lab interpretation, and treatment planning.

Jon Snipes, MD
Medical Director & Supervising Physician
Dr. Snipes serves as the medical director of Cost Plus TRT, providing physician oversight for every patient's treatment plan. A double board-certified addiction psychiatrist with additional certifications in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, Dr. Snipes brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to hormone optimization. His multidisciplinary background ensures that all protocols adhere to Endocrine Society clinical practice guidelines, and that patient safety remains the top priority across every prescribing decision.
